Thoughts on General Session I [HD]
International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers
This last Saturday proved to be a potent lesson in trusting Spirit with thousands gathering on the phone for our Solstice Call after 17,500 had registered.
The Elders Speak out!
Of the six Grandmothers who had confirmed their presence for this first Council, four were waylaid at the last minute – international calling difficulties or situations that required their attention. Only Grandmother Flordemayo and Grandmother Rita Long Visitor, plus Jyoti, the group’s convener, were able to make it live.
So while we had a smaller number of the “official” Grandmothers, what it called for us to do was widen the circle and include the voices of some of the hundreds of other Grandmothers on the call – which turned out to be quite a blessing! The prayers offered from around the world were intimate, healing, and powerful as a complement to the beautiful offerings from Jyoti, Grandmother Flordemayo and Grandmother Rita.

the ways we come to be a medicine man, a healer, or spiritual leader

"During a healing, my mentor asked if I wanted to meet my spiritual guides. My mentor said that they wanted to meet me. Hesitantly, I said 'Yes'. She told me what she saw & heard, since she could not understand thier language. She wrote down what they said & I interpreted it for us, It was Dine', my language, Navajo! When I asked her to ask them who they where, they told her what I need to hear. They said they had to tell me themselves. So I meditated & accepted the visions she gave me. She is here to help me 'Bring the world back together as one, by Healing the World'
That is when I started down this path of spiritual healing.
As a Gourd Dancer, I bless the grounds for our dancers to have a good place to dance before powwows! I have been doing this for years & years. I am a proud member of the Golden State Gourd Society of Southern California.

Experienced Animal Energy to compliment Mother Earth
I spent last weekend with the Elders at the Animal Spirit Dance & experienced Animal Energy in the Spirit Lodge.
Followed that with a Healers Picnic here in DC.
Lastly, I went to an "Avatar" (the movie) viewing party which ended with an Intention Meditation, where we connected with the Earth Energy.
Followed that with a Healers Picnic here in DC. Spent this last weekend at the 3rd Annual Horse Spirit Healing Pow Wow and spread the Animal Energy to all I saw. It was awsome.
I have had such an awesome two weeks spending time with ALL my healer friends, including my new Wellness Network, here in DC, called Univera Life Science. A Wellness Network where we give away "Ageless Xtra." in a Relationship Network Model. We promote Wellness at the cellular level!
